Welcome to the Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum!
The museum is housed in a former Victorian waste water pumping station. It is devoted to the technology and industrial history of the area with particular emphasis on the transport and manufacturing innovations which have taken place in the Lea Valley.

The Pumphouse Museum is currently being transformed into London's newest steam and transport museum.

The project is being developed in and around the Grade II listed Low Hall Victorian Pumping Station and its rare Marshall C Class steam engines.

We are open to the public every Sunday, from 11:00 to 16:00. Entry is free!

Engine Running Day
On Sunday 29 November, we will run the Marshall and Loughborough steam engines regularly between 11:00 and 16:00. Please see this page for more details.
